Server config

The Server Config page defines the SMTP endpoint the application uses to send messages it generates itself - autoreplies from Autoresponder rules, and messages from the Forward message and New message policy rule actions.

The Server Config page, with the SMTP host and SMTP port fields

SMTP host

Hostname or IP address of the SMTP server used for sending. On a typical single-server Zimbra installation this is localhost.

SMTP port

Port of the SMTP server. The default is 25.

Click Save Settings to apply the changes.

note

The install defaults (localhost:25) can also be overridden in /opt/msh-zr/etc/config.cf, but the values saved on this page take precedence.
