Install

Install the components in the order listed below - the server package needs Java, and Zimbra is configured last, once the milter is running.

  • Java - verify the installed version and install OpenJDK 21 on Debian, Ubuntu and RHEL-family distributions.
  • Server installation - unpack the package to /opt/msh-zr, install the systemd services and log in to the web admin UI.
  • Zimbra configuration - register the milter in the Zimbra MTA with zmprov and verify the Postfix configuration.
